COME ONE! COME ALL! IT'S STORYTIME FOR EVERYBODY! Schlow has designed programs to introduce children to the library and its materials and to encourage interaction with others. Our hands-on storytime encourages interaction between parents and children in a group setting. Please register in person at the Children's Desk on the day of the program. The program is designed for children ages newborn to 5 years old. Space is limited to 25 children.

Mother Goose on the Loose

For children under three years old with a favorite adult.  Join us for a musical, rhyming adventure through the world of Mother Goose.  This is a lap-sit program focusing on rhymes and music, encouraging interaction between baby and adult. All-Sports Museum, Curtin Road (southwest corner of Beaver Stadium), University Park

Come in costume and be greeted by student athletes (with lots of candy!) as you walk throughout the galleries of the museum. There will be games, prizes, drawings, and photo opportunities in the lobby.  This event is free and open to the general public!

Harvest Festival

A Halloween Parade for all ages will assemble outside the Philipsburg Towers at 11:00 AM the parade will begin at 12:00 PM ending at the Borough parking lot at the bottom of the hill on West Presqueisle Street. Immediately following the parade treat bags and a map will be given to all participants who can then “trick or treat” in downtown Philipsburg. The festival will also feature pumpkin carving, local farmers and vendors.

Those Who Came Before: Archaeology of Centre County's Native Americans
